  • He lived and grew up in the United States from childhood until 1990, and continued his higher education there.
    After his university years, he worked in international auditing and company valuation (so-called CPA) in the United States (Mann Judd Landau firm, New York) for five years. After that, he was the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at the computer services company Datatel Inc. in Washington.

    Starting in 1979, initially in the United States, and then in 1990, moving to Hungary, he founded several IT distribution, sales and system integration companies. As MicroAge's Hungarian partner, he established Duna Elektronika Kft., which received the "Best IBM Reseller" certification after just two years. After that, he became an outstanding domestic distributor and service partner of several global companies (Compaq, Dell, HP, Lenovo, etc.). His service area is mainly the domestic and international large corporate and "large-user" business and government sectors.

    He transformed and reorganized the company several times, and established numerous subsidiaries: eventually the large-scale and now very well-known Duna Elektronika group of companies dealing in computer, peripheral and software trade was formed, of which he has been the leader ever since.

    He was a member of the board of the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham Hungary) for years.

    And what else is important
    • Between 1992 and 2000, he was the publisher of the English-language weekly Budapest Week, which was the first independent foreign-language newspaper after 1989.
    • The publishing house Budapest Week Publishing, which it owns, established the Best of Budapest & Hungary independent and public rating system in 1993, which seeks to direct the public's attention to the best domestic caterers, hotels and other service providers. It publishes periodical publications and annually presents an award to an outstanding catering and hotel service provider at a large-scale gala.
    • In 2004, he launched Diplomacy&Trade, an independent, English-language political, economic and cultural monthly magazine.
    • In 2000, he received the Budapest Metropolitan Municipality Award.
