  • Between 1970 and 1972, he worked as a systems programmer at the Institute of Industrial and Economic Organization and Computer Technology (ISZSZI) of the Ministry of Metallurgy and Mechanical Industry (KGM). Between 1972 and 1973, he developed accounting programs for Ernst Katzinger and then Philips Burocomputer as part of software export work commissioned by the Information Processing Laboratory (Infelor).

    Between 1973 and 1986, he was a systems programmer, database application developer, and then department manager at the Computer Applications Company (Számalk). He participated in the development of the R-10 operating system and the localization of Videoton computer operating systems.
    During this period, he designed and developed data transmission applications for large Hungarian companies, Honeywell Bull and the Polish Ministry of the Interior.
    He designed and partially programmed the R-10 machine for internal use at Számalkban, which was connected to an IBM-360 (ESZR) machine as a terminal, so that batch jobs could be sent from the R-10 for execution.

    As an external assignment, he participated in the programming of an R-10-based water management data collection system at the Department of Instrumentation Technology, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, BME.
    Between 1982 and 1984, he prepared statistical analyses of sociology for the Institute of Social Sciences. In 1985, also on an external assignment, he was the head of the development of a Glass Guitar guitar training program for the Commodore-64.

    In parallel with the above, he was the organizer and then head of the software export group at Számalk, and between 1986 and 1992 he was the director of Számalk's joint venture in England, Densitron Computers Ltd. There he participated in the development and distribution of the Relacs+Trade enterprise resource planning (ERP) system. Users of this application included Densitron Europe, Densitron Inc. (USA), Kecskeméti Konzervgyár, and nearly 100 customers of two distributors (MAPS Ltd. in England and Processorg Kft. in Hungary).

    Between 1992 and 2000, as director of Densitron Software Ltd., he was an export representative for Hungarian software and hardware companies (Számalk, Albacomp, Multilogic, Cellware, Graphisoft, CompuDrug, Dexons Systems).
    During this period, he also participated in the development of two independent software products: DeBIT EIS was developed for Densitron International Inc., while he developed an Intellichart Realtime data collector for Motorola Chip Factory and a Scottish company.

    Between 2001 and 2006, he was the project manager for Densitron Europe.

    In 2006, he joined Geeplus Europe Ltd. as a system administrator. His responsibilities included: ERP software support, quality control, and then financial control of Geeplus Holding Ltd.'s American and Japanese companies.

    In 1984, he received the Badge for Excellent Work from the Council of Ministers of the Hungarian People's Republic.
