    After his university studies, he began teaching at the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science of the University of Veszprém (now the University of Pannonia, PE), and then became a lecturer at the Department of Systems and Computer Science in 2012. He has been an associate professor since 2016, and head of the department since 2019.
    His main research areas are data science, data mining, and machine learning. His research is related to many application areas, of which his results on the exploitation and use of healthcare data assets stand out.

    He is the founder (2021) and head of the Data-Intensive Artificial Intelligence Methods and Systems Research Laboratory at the Faculty of Engineering and Informatics of the University of Pannonia (PE MIK), and he is also the founder (2017) and head of the Healthcare Business Analytics Research and Development Center at PE MIK. He is the developer of the topics of several data science subjects, the developer and head of the Data Science master's program starting in 2023 at PE. He habilitated at PE in 2023.

    He is a committed supporter of talent development. During his supervision, several student papers have won Best Paper awards at international conferences, and he is the supervisor of several successful TDK papers. He is the co-author of more than 100 scientific publications and 2 international monographs (publication in 2022).
