Adam Fekete
He completed his higher education at Cleveland Western University in 1954, after 10 years of studying due to his full-time job.
In 1969, four people - two of whom were of Hungarian origin - founded a company called International Systems Inc. and began developing a software package called Project Analysis + Control (PAC I.) for mainframe computers.
By the end of 1970, 35 companies in the United States were using the software. During development, its main activity was planning and holding presentations.
Negotiations began in Germany with the reputable management consulting firm "Roland Berger and Partners" to distribute the PAC I software. He became a so-called partner of this company. In a short time, the largest German companies became users of the PAC I software, including the German government. In the meantime, he began to build an international network of representatives in Europe (England, Holland, Italy, Sweden) and expanded overseas (South Africa, Australia, Japan, Brazil).
In Hungary, Interag Rt. was contacted. A compensation deal was created. The Hungarian Broadcasting Association (MHE) purchased the PAC I software. 100% of the amount paid was returned to MHE for further development of the software; thus, PAC II was created.
In 1981, it received a Swiss establishment permit in the Canton of Zug, making the international headquarters of the PAC II software package Zug/Switzerland until 1989. As personal computers slowly replaced mainframe software at that time, the life of PAC II came to an end. The software was not ported to personal computers.
He retired in 1993.
