After graduating from university, he started working at the Hungarian Telegraph Office (MTI), where their first major project was the implementation of a text news archive on a VAX/VMS platform with a BASIS database manager. (At that time, such free-text, i.e. full-text searchability was still considered a curiosity.) The database contained the news published by MTI and made it available to internal and external subscribers.

In the late 1990s, he participated in the Hungarian Encyclopedia project at Akadémiai Kiadó, designing databases and developing workflows. The BASISPlus database manager was used here.

Later he returned to MTI, where he headed the software development department. They had a lot of internal developments - they had to renew the service system so that subscribers could access the content more conveniently, via a web interface. They also created several archive services.
Between 2004 and 2006, he participated in the development of the Automatic Coding System as an internal IT expert. The goal of the project was to help categorize the news archive, which had since been migrated to BASISPlus.

The Open Archive project enabled wider access to MTI content, where old transcripts were digitized to make published news searchable. The other was the Europhoto project, where MTI, among ten news agencies, made 100,000 archive photos available.

After the merger of public media, at the Media Services Support and Asset Management Fund (MTVA), among several other applications, it is responsible for coordinating developments related to software supporting program planning and production.
