    After graduating with a degree in electrical engineering, he also earned a doctorate from the Budapest University of Technology (BME) and was awarded the Republic's Golden Ring.
    He first started working as a researcher at the Central Physical Research Institute (KFKI). In 1994, he received his PhD in communication protocols.

    He has been working in the research and development department of Ericsson Hungary Ltd. since 1997. He built up Ericsson's testing research laboratory and then heads the Testing Knowledge Center that emerged from it. Their task: to develop testing solutions for the testing and qualification of software produced by Ericsson worldwide.
    From 1998, he represented Ericsson for several years in the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) testing board. He also led testing projects at Ericsson's headquarters in Stockholm. Later, he led the development of several Ericsson software products in Hungary, including several elements of Ericsson's network management system. He works as an operational manager on the development of Ericsson's telecommunications analytics system.

    He was a part-time associate professor at the Department of Telecommunications and Media Informatics (TMIT) of BME until 2018. He also supervised several doctoral students. His main areas of expertise are testing of communicating distributed systems and modeling of communication protocols.

    Member of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences Telecommunications Scientific Committee (TTB) (formerly the Telecommunications Systems Committee). He was the Hungarian representative of the Network Communication Working Group of the International Federation for Information Processing (IFIP) for more than 20 years.

    Awards: Kalmár Prize (NJSZT, 2001); Tivadar Puskás Prize (Communications and Informatics Science Association (HTE), 2003).
