  • He began his career at the Hungarian Postal Experimental Institute (PKI) in the network design group: he developed computer design procedures and used design programs to optimize and size the structure of the national backbone network. From 1988, he participated in the preparation and design of the digitalization of the telephone network. From 1993, he dealt with telecommunications regulation: he developed basic technical plans (structure, traffic management, numbering and signaling network plans).
    From 1998, he headed the PKI Network Strategies Department; then from 2005, he headed the Technical Strategy Department of the Magyar Telekom Group. He was responsible for analyzing new telecommunications technologies, laying the foundations for their introduction, and coordinating the Telekom Group's technical strategy.

    From 1999, he was a member of the Telecommunications Engineering Qualification Committee (TMMB), and then continuously of the Informatics and Communications Expert Committee (IHSZB) until its dissolution (2004).

    He published his results in numerous articles and conferences. He was a lecturer at courses (Budapest University of Technology (BME) Institute of Advanced Engineering Education; Finnish TELECON computer network design courses, Helsinki, 1988/89).
