    He is an associate professor at the Department of Automation and Applied Informatics (AUT), Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics (VIK), Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME). After receiving his diploma and PhD, he remained at the university, where he continued his work in research, education, and industrial software development projects that he had already started.

    He primarily teaches subjects related to software development and software design to electrical engineers and computer scientists, where he places great emphasis on transferring experience gained in direct, industrial projects.

    In his research work, he focuses on interdisciplinary areas, where he connects the tools of informatics (artificial intelligence, integration of domain-specific knowledge into software solutions, high-level automation of measurements and evaluations) with research in more distant fields. to support them. So far, such distant fields have been geology, archaeology, medical image processing, pharmaceutical production, and building material technology.
    He combines research work with teaching to provide his students with as concrete experiences as possible. In this context, more than 130 theses and diploma projects have already been completed under his supervision.

    He was the vice president of the National Union of Hungarian Students between 2021-24.
