Antal Buza
After graduating from university, he joined the Computer Engineering Department of Dunai Vasmű (DV). He worked there for 10 years, in various positions; in the last 5 years, he was a software development manager and deputy department manager. He was responsible for the development and maintenance of working versions of IBM OS operating systems, and for determining the operating order. He actively participated in the design and development of several mainframe application systems of DV. Even during this period, he occasionally participated in college education.
From 1989 until his retirement, he taught at Dunaújváros College (DUF) and then at Dunaújváros University (DUE), as a college associate professor and then as a college and university professor. He was one of the managers and an active participant in the development of the college's computer network. As the founder and head of the Department of Informatics Systems, he participated in the introduction of computer science majors, the development of curricula and curriculum content, and their continuous renewal. He was a lecturer in the subjects of Databases, Data Mining, Operating Systems, and (at the time of its introduction) Computer Networks. He also wrote notes and aids related to the subjects.
In his doctoral dissertation, he dealt with issues of handling extremely large data sets.
