    After his university studies, he first worked as a corporate management consultant, and then as a university lecturer from the early 1900s; in addition to teaching, he managed international development programs spanning several years.

    In 2001, he became a strategic consultant at KFKI Számítástechnikai Rt., and in the same year he was invited to join the faculty of the Central European University (CEU) Business School as an external professor. Since 2005, he has been a full-time professor at the school, and his courses deal with innovation and entrepreneurship topics. Previously, he has taught at the Budapest University of Economics (BKE), the University of Debrecen (DE), the Szent István University of Gödöllő (SZIE) and the Budapest University of Technology (BME), and is currently a guest lecturer at several higher education institutions in Hungary and abroad.

    His area of expertise is corporate management and organization, with a special focus on the IT industry and the impact of technological development on the organizational and management systems of companies. He has published dozens of books and more than a hundred articles on these topics, both independently and with co-authors, in Hungarian and English. His book "The Big Data Ecosystem" was published in 2015 by Typotex Publishing. He has been an active blogger for ten years, and his professional blog currently runs on the T-Systems website.

    Candidate of Economics (MTA, 1993); his dissertation dealt with the analysis of modern corporate organizational and operational systems. Habilitation (DE, 2004).

    He was the vice president of the National Union of Hungarian Students between 2016 and 2018.

    Award: Neumann Prize (NJSZT, 2013).
