His name became known as a well-known practitioner of operations research and retirement mathematics.
In 1945, he started working at the Hungarian Insurance Institute (MABI) as an actuarial mathematician, and then he was an old-age and disability mathematician at the National Social Insurance Institute (OTI).
Later, he was the deputy director of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences' Mathematical Research Institute and then the head of the Pension Insurance Supervisory Board of the Social Insurance Agency (TB).
