  • Between 1968 and 1972, he worked as a research engineer and then as the technical manager of the computer service at the Electronic Measuring Instruments Factory (EMG). He participated in the development and installation of the EMG 830. Later, he developed and professionally managed the service.

    Between 1972 and 1990, he was chief engineer and deputy director general for development and investment at the computer center of the Institute of Construction Economics and Organization (ÉGSZI). Under his leadership, the construction industry computer network was established (Budapest - Miskolc - Debrecen - Szeged - Pécs - Győr) first with EMG 830 and then with R20-R40 machines. Software was developed and used in contract processing (material, wage, freight management, factory production management, etc.). A high-level programming language called MPG 60 was developed. Microcomputers (IBM, TAP-34, Proper 8/16) were among the first to be distributed – together with application programs.

    Between 1990 and 1991, he was the CEO of Softinvest Rt. He was responsible for the development and sale of boxed software distribution, and also supported and financed the development of various software (e.g. spell-checking software).

    Between 1991 and 2014, he was the Deputy CEO and Quality Assurance Director of Novodata Zrt. He distributed and provided full support for the Gyógyír system developed for pharmacies (hardware-software service, training, operational assistance, change tracking, drug database, etc.). The company was the market leader in this field (52-54% of pharmacies used this system). Gyógyír was connected online with the systems of the Tax and Financial Control Office (electronic cash register), the National Health Insurance Fund (public medical care, pharmacy accounting), pharmaceutical wholesalers, and Novodata. A cloud-based application for pharmacy networks was also developed with the support of the Central Hungary Operative Program (KMOP) application.

    He has published articles in several computer science journals and magazines, and has given lectures at professional conferences. He has participated in the training of systems developed by his companies. He has also worked as an expert at the National Institute of Computer Science and Engineering.
