Between 1995 and 2007, he was an associate professor and head of department at the GDF in the Programming and then Software Technology departments. He developed and led several subjects. He supervised more than 50 instructors in the Budapest and rural centers of the college, regularly holding professional training courses and workshops for them. He was the professional leader of the national “Abacus” software development and talent search competition organized by the GDF for several years.
He is one of the domestic pioneers of object-oriented design and programming.
His main areas of expertise: programming, program design methods, object-oriented design and programming, business modeling, UML (Unified Modeling Language), software design and documentation, software patterns, model-based software development, use case creation, BRMS (Business Rule Management System).
He regularly presented at domestic and foreign conferences. He was a member of the Hungarian Accreditation Committee as a distance education expert. He has published about 10 books, several of which have been used as textbooks by numerous secondary and higher education institutions (e.g. Programming Textbook – Structured Design, Turbo Pascal Volumes I and II; Object-Oriented Design and Programming, JAVA Volumes I and II). In addition, several of his college notes have been published in printed and/or electronic form.
Between 2008 and 2016, he worked primarily as a software analyst and designer at the software development company T-Logic Kft. Here, he participated in the development of the business rules management system developed by the company, developed training materials and provided training. He founded and led the NJSZT “IT Management of Business Rules” professional group for years.
His awards include: Tarján Award (NJSZT, 1997); IT Instructor of the Year (Association of Hungarian Leading IT Professionals, VISZ, 2003); Gábor Dénes Award (GDF, 1999).
- He has 2 children and 1 grandchild (2019 report).
- Hobbies: violin (part-time member of the Óbuda Chamber Orchestra), badminton, ping-pong, cycling.
- He knows from his own experience: if a person uses his body incorrectly (for example, sitting in front of a computer for decades), it will be destroyed – and then the soul and the profession can be destroyed too. With the help of the Alexander Technique, a person can learn to use himself consciously and correctly. Now, his whole desire is to pass on this knowledge as an Alexander teacher to those who are currently – in their professional momentum – on the best path towards serial spinal hernias and the collapse of their psychophysical system.
