Digitalization is natural! The basis of digitalization is IT - this should never be forgotten. Especially if you run an IT business. Today, no one needs to be convinced to move from their current state due to digitalization. Everyone understands and feels that they need to develop, but there is a very long way to go from paper records to a data-driven economy, from a boxed IT product to a digital ecosystem. Digitalization does not mean that robots will be put in factories and people will no longer be needed. The story of robotization does not end when a company buys a robot, but rather begins there. If the price of a robot is $30,000, by the time it becomes a working solution, it will cost at least $180,000. And a significant part of the added value difference between the two is provided by the IT industry. Digital thinking and business operations are about data-based understanding, sensors, virtualized processes, conclusions drawn from them, intervention, new products and new business models. Digitalization and innovation are not binary concepts, there are many small steps that need to be taken by those who want to be successful. IVSZ aims to use the MENTA conference as a compass for ICT business leaders in this process. We show the direction, help develop the mindset, and provide a springboard for market expansion.
