NIM "Computer-related research and development in the electricity industry" sectoral program support
He began developing the most basic electric network programs as a further development of FÉTIS on the NIM ELLIOTT 803/B computer (under the leadership of László Borovszky). In parallel, he provided technical support for the machine, under the leadership of Péter Braun.
In 1967, he established a computing center by setting up a RAZDAN-3 machine, primarily for the computational support of electrical power research.
In 1973, an R-40 computer was installed
And in 1985, an IBM 4361, industrial applications and calculations were performed on these machines.
The legal predecessors of the Electric Power Industry Research Institute (VEIKI) are the research institutions VILLENKI, operating in the field of electrical engineering, and HÖKI, operating in the field of thermal engineering. The merged institute was established on January 1, 1964. It was under the supervision of the Ministry of Heavy Industry. VEIKI was transformed into a Private Limited Company in 1993, then filed for bankruptcy protection in 2009 and was liquidated in 2010. Several small enterprises called VEIKI-X were formed from its employees. (Eg. VEIKI-VNK, VEIKI-ENERGIA, VEIKI-Biztonságtechnika).
