To date, in 2015, the company has manufactured and sold over one hundred thousand self-developed analytical instruments and over one million electrodes in the Eastern European and South American markets. Among their large-scale productions, the most significant were the OH-101, -102 polarographs, the OH-407 coulomb meter, the OP-208 digital pH meter and the OP-210 blood gas analyzers.
The RADELKIS Electrochemical Instrument Manufacturing Cooperative was founded in 1952. After searching for a way out in the first years, the main profile was chosen to be the electro-analytical instrument manufacturing, which could rely on the outstanding results of Hungarian scientific life. After two decades of great prosperity, RADELKIS was forced to make cuts, and in 1995 the site became the property of ERICSON Hungary Ltd. At that time, the cooperative was transformed into a Ltd., but instrument manufacturing continued in a declining market.
The company achieved worldwide success with the introduction of the production of ion-selective electrodes, which, through the work of its own research and development team, developed into the production of microvolume pH and ion analyzers, indispensable for medical practice.
In 1976, the American Corning International Cooperation, the Radelkis Electrochemical Instrument Manufacturing Cooperative, and the Metrinpex foreign trade company founded the Radelcor Kft. “joint venture.”
