Their initial activity was to distribute MicroStation and Oracle. During their growth, they tripled their revenues annually. Their main focus is the oil and gas industry. Their main product is the Line Information System (LIS), which supports the registration, maintenance and operation of high-pressure pipeline networks. They are the designated service providers of Bentley Systems software packages. In 1997, Bentley signed a contract with piLINE to develop a one-dimensional line information system, which was added to Bentley's product list. In 1998, they supplied a GIS system for pipeline construction, maintenance and diagnostic data management called ISZTIN to the Ukrainian gas company Ukrgazprom. In 2004, their GIS system for high-pressure gas pipelines called ISTGN won the Ukrainian "Best in Fuel and Energy Industry" award.
