Laboratory Instrument Industrial Works
The predecessor of Labor MIM initially imported and later distributed its own instruments (e.g., Lange–Roth two-element photometer).
In 1934, a small factory in Esztergom began producing gliders, and continued to do so until the end of the 1940s. In these years, instrument-type products also appeared in the factory's profile. The predecessors of the large company produced teaching aids, school demonstration devices, and sports equipment. At the same time, photometers, autoclaves, electrocardiographs, and X-ray machines were also included in the product range. At the time of nationalization, the small factories attached to the company began producing new devices, and thus the factory's profile of laboratory glassware and devices was added.
- István Horváth joined the Relé factory of the Labor Instrument Industry in Esztergom in 1960, where he worked on the development and localization of medical instruments within the framework of the Antonov program.
- Aladár Németh, designer

CONTIFLO automatic analyzer single and multi-channel versions
Thanks to product development, the large company produced 94 new product types between 1966 and 1971.
The Csepel Car Factory initially produced the D566 type cab with the Ikarus factory, but over time the factory's capacity did not allow for its production, so Esztergom was included in the production of Labor MIM.
The company, which can be considered the predecessor of Labor MIM, was founded in 1899.
In the 1930s, the Budapest and Esztergom factories continued to develop along different lines. The Esztergom factory was nationalized in 1948, while the Budapest factory was nationalized in 1949. After nationalization, it became necessary to build a third factory, which began in 1971. In the meantime, the two nationalized factories merged into a large industrial company in 1963. The company was liquidated in 1991.
Labor-Mix is the successor company of Labor MIM's brand service. It deals with the distribution of new devices and the purchase and sale of old laboratory devices. Its products sold include: new and used instruments, devices, parts, temperature control systems, automation.
The company supported many cultural and sports associations in Esztergom. Labor MIM supported the Vasas football club, which even included the word MIM in its name. The company treated artists in the same way as athletes living in the city.
