Bull Hungary Ltd. has been operating successfully on the market since 1990. In 2014, the Atos group acquired the Bull group, and since the merger, our company has represented the Atos group in Hungary. Simultaneously with the renaming, we are merging Cambridge Technology Partners Kft., which belongs to the Atos Consulting business line, into ourselves. BULL Hungary Ltd., as a member of the ATOS group, will continue to operate under a new name, ATOS Hungary Limited Liability Company (“ATOS”), as of April 30, 2016.
Bull is a French computer technology company headquartered in Les Clayes-sous-Bois, a western suburb of Paris. The company's name has changed many times over the years, including Bull General Electric, Honeywell Bull, CII Honeywell Bull, and Bull HN. It is now Bull SAS, but is also known as Groupe Bull and Bull Information Systems.
The Bull company was founded in 1931 as HW Egli – Bull, to exploit the punched card technology of the Norwegian engineer Fredrik Rosing Bull (1882-1925). In 1933, the company was reorganized and the new owners changed its name to Compagnie des Machines Bull (CMB).
Bull is present in more than 100 countries worldwide (including Hungary until 2016), active in a wide variety of sectors, such as national defense, finance, healthcare, industry, media, and telecommunications.
