Terms of Use
- Introduction
Dear User!
The Informatics History Forum (hereinafter: iTF) is a professional community established in January 2009 within the framework of the John Neumann Computer Science Society (NJSZT), which aims to process the history of informatics and create a collection that serves its historical memory as a public domain, thereby serving research, education, culture and information gathering in this direction. Our mission is to support research, memory preservation and presentation activities related to the history of informatics in various places and for various purposes, primarily by providing meeting opportunities and a discussion forum for those interested in the history of informatics, as well as to keep track of such activities and promote their awareness.
Our goal is also to create a Data Warehouse that will help Users become familiar with the achievements of more than fifty years of IT. Furthermore, we are determined to facilitate the collection of memories related to the history of IT and to support projects exploring certain areas of domestic IT history.
Our logo was composed of objects of significance in the history of computing equipment.
