The purpose of the system is to provide computer support in the design, production and inspection phases, i.e. in a complete product development process.
Computer-assisted:
• modeling of electrical components,
• circuit design of analog and digital equipment and simulation of their operation,
• construction/layout design of circuits implemented on printed circuit boards or hybrid substrates,
• preparation of production and testing documentation.
ICL, PDP 1134/1140(TPA 1140)
(plotters, scanners)
DOS or RSX operating system
FORTRAN
(Note: In addition to general use, in the case of LM Ericsson, it is specifically used for: high-frequency simulation, and in the case of Ferranty-Cetec, it is used for: layout design.)
